Returns & Refunds
At Kimikopet, EU consumers generally have the legal right to withdraw from a purchase made through distance selling within 14 days, without giving a reason.
The withdrawal period generally starts on the day you, or a person you nominate, receives the goods.
Return eligibility
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send a clear notice of withdrawal before the 14-day withdrawal period ends.
After informing us, the goods should be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date you communicated your withdrawal.
You may inspect the goods only to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
If the goods have been handled more than necessary, you may be responsible for any reduced value.
Non-returnable items
For hygiene or health reasons, opened or used products may not be eligible for return where the law allows such exclusion.
This may include opened hygiene-sensitive pet products.
Customized goods, quickly perishable goods, sealed goods that are not suitable for return once opened for health or hygiene reasons, and mixed goods that cannot be separated may also fall outside the right of withdrawal where permitted by law.
Refunds
If your withdrawal is valid, Kimikopet will reimburse payments received for the returned goods, including basic standard delivery costs where required by law.
Refunds may be withheld until the returned goods have been received back, or until you provide proof that you have sent them back, whichever happens first.
Refunds are made using the original payment method unless another method is agreed and legally permitted.
Once returned goods are received and inspected, refunds are typically processed within 5 to 10 business days, although bank or payment provider processing times may vary.
Original outbound shipping charges are refunded only where required by law or where expressly stated in our policy.
Return shipping and defective items
Unless Kimikopet expressly states otherwise, customers are responsible for return shipping costs for non-defective returns and change-of-mind returns.
If we provide a return label or separate return instructions, those instructions should be followed to ensure proper handling of the return.
If you receive a defective, incorrect, unsafe, or not-as-described product, please contact customer support and provide relevant details, photographs where useful, and your order number.
In such cases, Kimikopet may offer a replacement, refund, repair, price reduction, or another remedy required or permitted by applicable law.
If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, you should, where possible, note the damage with the carrier and contact Kimikopet customer service without undue delay.
